Our client is seeking four experienced Business Analysts (BAs) with a strong background in EdTech, particularly Learning Management System (LMS) development. The ideal candidates will have extensive experience in Customer Journey Mapping, Agile Scrum Development, Agile Backlog Management, and User Story Mapping. This role requires strong collaboration with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UX designers, and development teams, to define and enhance LMS solutions that align with user needs and business goals.
- Requirement Discovery & Analysis: Lead stakeholder discussions, elicit, document, and analyze business and technical requirements for LMS development.
- Customer Journey Mapping: Design and optimize learner/user journeys to enhance the overall learning experience.
- Agile Backlog Management: Define, prioritize, and manage the product
backlog, ensuring clear and actionable user stories with well-defined DoR and DoD. - User Story Mapping: Collaborate with stakeholders to structure and refine user stories for seamless functionality and end-user satisfaction.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Engage with Product Owners, UX/UI teams,
and Development teams to ensure alignment with business and technical
goals. - Agile Best Practices: Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives), supporting iterative development cycles.
- Process Optimization: Recommend improvements based on data analysis and best practices in Agile and EdTech.
- Interoperability & Compliance: Ensure LMS solutions comply with SCORM, xAPI, LTI, and other industry standards.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain requirement specifications,
workflow diagrams, and process documentation in Confluence or similar
collaboration tools.
- 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, ideally in EdTech or LMS-related projects.
- Strong experience in requirement discovery and artifact creation (e.g., BRDs, user flows, wireframes, workflow diagrams).
- Proficiency in Customer Journey Mapping, Agile Backlog Management, and User Story Mapping.
- Deep understanding of Agile frameworks, including SAFe, LeSS, DAD, and Scrum methodologies (Scrum models N, N-1, N+1).
- Expertise in backlog management: Definition of Ready (DoR), Definition of Done (DoD), acceptance criteria writing.
- Familiarity with estimation approaches in Agile (e.g., story points, T-shirt sizing, WSJF).
- Experience working with educational technology solutions (LMS, CA,
SIS) and understanding of interoperability standards (e.g., SCORM, xAPI,
LTI). - Technical BA skills are a plus (e.g., understanding APIs, REST/JSON, Postman, Swagger).
- Proficiency in BA tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Miro, Figma, Lucidchart, or equivalent.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, bridging business and technical teams.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience working on large-scale enterprise projects.
