We’re seeking a talented Business Analyst to join our team and play a pivotal role in the presales and discovery phases of our projects.
As a Business Analyst at Academy Smart, you will collaborate closely with clients, sales teams, and project teams to gather requirements, create detailed documentation, and define the scope of projects. Your role is instrumental in bridging the gap between client needs and technical solutions, ensuring a clear understanding of goals during the critical presales and discovery phases.
- Presales Support:
• Collaborate with the sales team to understand client business needs and goals.
• Participate in client meetings and workshops to capture requirements and expectations.
• Assist in preparing proposals, RFP responses, and presentations by defining project scope and high-level requirements.
• Provide input for estimating efforts and resources for potential projects.
- Discovery Phase Activities:
• Conduct stakeholder interviews to gather business needs and objectives.
• Analyze client processes, systems, and data to identify gaps and opportunities.
• Create detailed requirement documentation, including business process models, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure requirements are feasible and align with proposed solutions.
• Facilitate workshops and brainstorming sessions to ensure alignment among stakeholders.
- Documentation & Communication:
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, such as BRDs (Business Requirements Documents), SRSs (Software Requirements Specifications), and workflows.
• Ensure effective communication between clients and internal teams to clarify requirements and manage expectations.
- Collaboration & Continuous Improvement:
• Work closely with project managers, technical teams, and designers to ensure seamless project transition from discovery to execution.
• Contribute to improving internal BA processes and templates.
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in IT outsourcing or product development.
- Proven track record in presales and discovery phases.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
- Expertise in gathering and documenting requirements, creating wireframes, and process modeling.
- Proficiency in tools like Confluence, JIRA, Miro, or similar.
- Familiarity with SDLC and Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of technical concepts and ability to communicate effectively with development teams
