Full Stack PHP/Laravel +Vue.js Engineer

English level: Upper-Intermediate (B2) or higher
Team size: 5 Engineers + PM + QA

We are looking for a Full Stack PHP/Laravel +Vue.js Engineer to join our client’s team — Sourcetoad, a US-based software engineering firm that builds impactful digital solutions used by thousands of people every day.
You will work on projects that power interactive platforms on 75+ cruise ships, deliver educational content to hundreds of thousands of learners, and support fintech and nonprofit systems. This is a long-term opportunity to contribute to meaningful software in a mature engineering culture.

• Must have:
  • 3–5 years of experience in software development with PHP & Laravel
  • Deep understanding of Laravel framework (routes, middleware, service containers, etc.)
  • Strong frontend experience with Vue.js
  • Experience working with REST APIs
  • Good knowledge of SQL and relational database design
  • Solid version control experience with Git
  • Unit testing with PHPUnit (or equivalent)
  • Comfortable communicating in English (written & spoken, B2+ level)
  • Availability for 4–5 hours of overlap with the US team (EST)

   

• Nice to have:
  • Experience with React or React Native
  • Familiarity with Docker or CI/CD workflows
  • Understanding of SOLID principles, clean architecture, or DDD
