About the role:

The QA / AQA Engineer Role involves ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products. You’ll design and execute manual and/or automated test cases, report defects, ensure product stability across platforms, and support release cycles. You will be responsible for writing and documenting test cases

Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute manual and / or automated test cases to ensure product quality
  • Create test plans and regression suites
  • Create test scripts for automated testing for regression and integration testing
  • Report, validate, track and manage bugs and defects from identification to resolution
  • Collaborating and liaising with multi-functional scrum teams
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, manual and automated
  • Understand and manage different types of testing, including functional and non-functional requirements, performance and security testing
  • Understanding of SQL databases to be able to test data-driven applications
  • Experience in Agile process and Scrum methodologies and environments, such as Jira and Confluence
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of the SDLC
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with good attention to detail
  • Well-developed communication and collaboration skills
  • Qualifications in computer science, information technology or related discipline and / or ISTQB certification
  • Experience in automatic API testing to using Postman to create CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficiency in automation tools, such as Selenium, Cypress
  • Proficiency in scripting languages, such as JavaScript / Java / Python

 

Will be a plus

 

  • Knowledge in XRay / QMetry
  • Experience with Rabbit MQ middleware
  • Prior experience in the EdTech domain (e-learning platforms, digital classrooms, LMS)
  • Knowledge of learning science, instructional design, or accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG)
  • Familiarity with tools like Moodle, Canvas, Zoom SDK, or Google Classroom integration
