The QHSSE team believed in the digitization of Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environment management, but did not have the right QHSSE management software system to implement it. Some Excel sheets were used, linked to SharePoint, which resulted in a static way of capturing data. This setup worked, although the system was not fully dedicated to managing QHSSE issues. Crucial features were missing, like action management, email supported workflows and notifications, automatically generated, real-time KPI dashboards and multi-language settings.

Ratios like Lost Time Injury (LTI), Total Recordable Incident (TRIR) had to be calculated manually. Functional change requests to the system were cumbersome and took a long time to implement. They wanted a solution that met their current but also future demands and is continuously being developed. A web based and standard software solution that is integrated and dedicated to QHSSE.


Notification and Alerts

Unsafe situations and incidents are registered by your employees. There is no point recording the incident if you do not take remedial action to prevent reoccurrence. Safety Dashboard will send a reminder mail to help ensure action is taken. After a solution is found it will be implemented and the employees involved will be notified via email by Safety Dashboard.

Management Dashboard

Managers don’t need to search for information. Safety Dashboard contains a management dashboard showing the latest situation. Safety Dashboard contains various surveys:

  • A Frequency Index shows the number of incidents per 100 employees, or other relevant base numbers.
  • Lost workday cases shows the number of working days lost as a result of an incident.
  • Zero incident days shows the number of days with no incidents with consequences.

Registration of events

Safety Dashboard is a web based application allowing employees to register their own incidents and unsafe situations. Entering data is simple and quick. Safety managers no longer need to spend time combining, retyping and copying individual forms. This simplicity invites employees to register unsafe situations.

Risk Analysis – Safety reports

Each incident gets its own safety report that give details about:

  • Activity and circumstances.
  • Behavior versus Technical causes.
  • Details about the incident.
  • Root cause analysis.
  • Lessons for the future.

Uniform reporting facilitates subsequent analysis to further increase safety in your company. All safety information can also be exported to Excel.
