About the role:

Our client builds ERP which a cloud-based enterprise resource planning (ERP) platform tailored for the shipping and maritime industry.

We are seeking a Frontend Architect (Angular) to lead the design and development of next-generation web applications within our ERP suite. You will serve as a technical leader for a dedicated agile group, contributing both hands-on and strategic input to ensure a robust and scalable frontend architecture.

Reporting directly to the VP of R&D, you will help define engineering best practices, drive frontend performance, and support a user experience that meets the high standards of our enterprise clients.

Responsibilities:
  • Become the technical focal point for the development efforts of an agile group alongside hands-on development (when applicable) and system design of one or more sub-systems;
  • Work alongside the group manager and the group members to ensure successful task deliveries and provide solutions for business needs;
  • Be part of a team that is responsible for the architecture and quality of JiBe’s entire solution. The team reports directly to the VP of R&D;
  • Verify and maintain a high level of development and delivery standards for your group as defined by the organization’s policies;
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 10 years’ software development experience (mainly Angular 2+ frontend or full stack web development);
  • A minimum of 5 years’ development and design experience with Angular 2+, TypeScript and JavaScript;
  • Practical and substantial experience designing and implementing responsive progressive web applications as well as micro frontends;
  • Experience with web application optimization and knowledge about Angular internal workings;
  • Practical and substantial experience with development quality methodologies and testing;
  • Practical familiarity with OOP, design patterns and SOLID principles;
  • Excellent interpersonal, planning, and organizational skills;
  • Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving skills;
  • Self-driven and works well with minimal supervision as part of a diverse team;
  • Proficiency in verbal and written English communication;
  • Upper-Intermediate level of spoken English.

A person cannot be an expert on everything, but if you have experience with one or more of the following, it can be an advantage for you and your team:
• Customer and product driven.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and client-relevant services.
• Experience with agile methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with international technical managers and colleagues.
