As a COBOL Developer, you will play a key role in maintaining and modernizing our mission-critical systems. You will work on designing, coding, testing, and deploying COBOL applications, ensuring system reliability, performance, and scalability.

Design, develop, and maintain COBOL applications on mainframe or distributed systems.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and propose solutions.

Debug and resolve technical issues, ensuring seamless system performance.

Optimize COBOL programs for performance and scalability.

Mentor junior developers and provide technical guidance.

Maintain detailed documentation for system processes and development activities.

Support testing and deployment activities, including unit, integration, and regression testing.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in COBOL development.

Strong understanding of COBOL programming, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM.

Experience with mainframe tools and utilities, such as TSO, ISPF, and RACF.

Proven ability to work with large-scale systems in a production environment.

Familiarity with modern development practices and tools (e.g., version control, CI/CD pipelines).

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
