Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and maintain data pipelines
Integrate and consolidate data from various systems and platforms
Ensure data quality and proactively identify and resolve inconsistencies
Monitor and optimize databases and storage solutions
Implement security measures and ensure compliance with data privacy regulations
Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other stakeholders
Stay up‑to‑date with emerging trends in data processing technologies

Requirements:

Fluent in German (C1) is a must and strong proficiency in English
Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field; or equivalent experience
Experience in data engineering or a similar role
Proficiency in relevant programming languages (e.g., Python, Java)
Experience with both relational and non-relational databases (SQL & NoSQL)
Familiarity with ETL tools and frameworks such as Apache Spark, Apache NiFi, or similar
Basic knowledge of Big Data technologies including Hadoop, MongoDB, graph databases, and vector databases
Strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and ability to work independently
