Academy Smart is looking for a versatile Strong-Middle/Senior Business Analyst/Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will primarily excel in business analysis while possessing solid experience in project management, stakeholder collaboration, and team leadership.
This role requires an individual who can seamlessly gather, analyze, and document business requirements while driving projects forward, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining high-quality results.
Business Analysis Focus:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and define project requirements, scope, and objectives.
- Participate in presales process.
- Conduct requirement-gathering sessions, interviews, and workshops to elicit both functional and non-functional requirements.
- Analyze and document detailed business processes, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
- Develop and maintain key project documentation, including BRDs, SRS, process flows, and wireframes.
- Perform gap analysis and identify solutions to optimize workflows or product features.
Project Management Focus:
- Lead and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring scope, schedule, and budget adherence.
- Coordinate and monitor project timelines, deliverables, and milestones.
- Act as a bridge between technical teams and stakeholders, resolving conflicts, managing expectations, and ensuring smooth communication.
- Ensure risks are identified, assessed, and mitigated in a timely manner.
- Manage change requests and ensure proper prioritization of tasks and requirements.
- Drive team performance and actively resolve blockers to achieve project goals.
- Lead retrospectives and contribute to process improvements.
People & Team Management:
- Oversee the productivity and performance of cross-functional teams.
- Mentor and guide team members, promoting growth and accountability.
- Facilitate effective team communication and collaboration.
- 3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Project Manager in IT or software development projects.
- Strong experience in gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
- Solid understanding of SDLC methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, etc.).
- Proven ability to manage projects, teams, and stakeholders across different phases.
- Experience with business process modeling tools and requirement management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Lucidchart, BPMN).
- Ability to prioritize tasks and drive solutions in a dynamic environment.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, QA engineers, and designers.
- Strong leadership, team management, and conflict resolution skills.
Will be a plus:
- Certification in PMP, CBAP, PSM, or equivalent is a strong plus.
- Experience in pre-sales activities, including RFP preparation and estimation.
