WordPress Engineer

We are looking for a WordPress Engineer to join our team and contribute to various projects within the company. The role involves developing and maintaining WordPress-based solutions, customizing themes and plugins, and ensuring optimal performance and security.

• 3+ years of experience in WordPress development.
• Proficiency in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience with WordPress theme and plugin development/customization.
• Strong understanding of WordPress hooks, filters, and actions.
• Experience with page builders (e.g., Elementor, WPBakery).
• Familiarity with SEO best practices and website optimization techniques.
• Experience with WooCommerce, ACF (Advanced Custom Fields), and custom post types.
• Understanding of security best practices for WordPress.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• English proficiency at the Intermediate level or higher.

• Develop and maintain WordPress-based websites and web applications.
• Customize and develop WordPress themes and plugins as per project requirements.
• Optimize websites for performance, SEO, and security.
• Troubleshoot and debug WordPress-related issues.
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and backend developers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Integrate third-party APIs and services into WordPress websites.
• Implement best practices for responsive and accessible web development.
• Participate in code reviews and knowledge-sharing within the team.

Will be a plus:

• Familiarity with Gutenberg block development.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines for WordPress deployment.
