Challenge

The challenge was maintaining and reinforcing a modern, fully-functional application development platform in terms of legacy modernization, providing microservices and other developments to provide high-quality service and cover all customer’s needs.

Solution

Moved JS frontend code to TS for maintainability increase;
Implemented new back-end logic as separate microservices using modern technologies;
Improved routing and implemented a gateway to have a single entry point for auth, domain requests handling;
Implemented a custom VS Code plugin to connect the user’s web UI with user code in the VS Code environment.
